Tertiary centres and 120 Ambulatory care centres.
SKILLS AND DUTIES
Knowledge of Federal and State Laws/Regulations regarding the provision of
Pharmaceutical Services.
Extract pertinent information from patient or other sources and relate it to a medical
management plan.
Under indirect supervision, consult with patients and medical personnel regarding
medication therapy.
Provides direction to pharmacist residents, intern pharmacists, pharmacy
technicians and non licensed personnel.
Dispenses, compounds, stores and distributes pharmacy products.
Provides medical personnel and patients with medication information and product
identification.
Performs other duties as required.
Work Schedule to vary as required (Monday to Sunday)
Excellent English skills – verbal and written
Ability to learn computer systems
Ability to stand for long periods of time, read fine print, communicate with co-
workers and patients. Position requires frequent bending/stooping/reaching.
SALARY
US$120,000 - $US150,000 dependent on experience, plus benefits.
